Potholes on the road, speed breakers, tire puncture and rough terrain can damage your car. However apart from this, there is also something which can damage your car, improper wheel alignment. It is very important that we do regular checks on the alignments or it is done during servicing.

· When the wheels are not properly aligned, they tend to push against each other due to uneven pressure. This results in applying more force to move forward and therefore much more fuel is burned.

· Proper alignment also helps to maximize your tire life. You can spend little amount on getting them aligned rather than spending more on new tires.

· It’s very important to consider the safety purpose too. With badly aligned wheels it is very difficult to drive on wet roads or iced roads without risking an accident.

· It also leads to many problems in your car. The brake shaft may not work properly, unbalanced braking, and it also affects the suspension of your car thus affecting the overall performance of the vehicle.

· Improper wheel alignment can be easily noticed when the steering is pointing straight and the wheel moves to right or left. This is an indication that there is a problem. Also when you examine the tires you’ll find that one of them is worn out. It also serves as an indication.

· A misaligned vehicle always ends up in costly repair bill. This is due to the fact that a badly aligned vehicle not only affects the wheel but also other part of the vehicle. Instead of facing such a nightmare, it is much easier to ensure that the wheels are aligned periodically.

It is important that you pay attention to how your vehicle feels once it is aligned. If there are any problems still lingering have it fixed immediately.
