E85 Viper Review
There are not many cars that can cross 200 mph. They will certainly have to have many miles of road to run on and are sponsered by a premium gasoline supplier, not a bio diesel supplier. Yet very recently, an old yet modified 2005 SRT10 Dodge roadster accomplished a new level for the street cars with a slim diet of E85 ethanol on the Oscoda, Michigan runway of one mile. It smashed the previous mark of 217.9 mph that the Hennessey Viper held, with its 220.7 mph. The 600-hp engine achieved about 175 mph running a mile.
Dodges new E85 Viper has been deemed legal to sun of the streets and comes with a V-10 engine doubled up through the installation of two intercooled turbo-chargers and update of the computer and fuel systems. With E85, the horsepower is nicely improved, but decrease the fuel mileage. The owner of the car, Karl Jacob, proved that the car is fast and environmentally friendly at the same time. The SVS has improved many vipers to help them operate on E85. This fuel is different from the regular gasoline when faced with unusual situations. Increased spark advance is needed as it runs cooler. The engine is retuned with more fuel delivery with the ignition timing being revised. On account of this, it delivers power differently.
It is different when you are running E85 fuel near 55 mph and it’s a totally different to push the temperature and heat at 200 mph. The E85 fuel is here to stay. It can easily be transformed into a bio-fuel without much effort. A kit will suffice for converting your car. You can also buy a new car which exclusively operates on E85.
Today, people are sceptical about performance and they will not shift to bio-fuel unless they are assured of good performance. The E85 is superior to gasoline in its performance and impact and thus worth the bucks.
