Green Vehicles – A Long Way To Go
Most supporters of environmental friendly automobiles move from extreme happiness to extreme depression in so far as support and popularity of green automobiles are concerned. Supporters of environmental friendly automobiles become very happy when they see a few green vehicles on the road. At the same time, they become very depressed when they find that the pollution levels remains the same because bulk of the vehicles happen to be traditional polluting automobiles.
How long should one wait before concluding that green automobiles have finally become popular? Well, I feel that the sight of a few persons choosing such vehicles can hardly be taken as the basis of success. Instead, one must visit airport taxi stansted stand and take a look at the number of vehicles teeming in and out of the airport.
One must consider the number of traditional vehicles and compare this figure with the number of environment friendly vehicles. It is only when the latter figures are higher than the former can one confidently state that people have shifted towards green vehicles.
Instead of becoming very happy at the smallest improvement, one must set high standards and strive to achieve the same. Sadly there is no leadership that is interested in marketing the advantages of green automobiles to the masses. We are sitting on a powder keg and our decision to ignore green cars is only going to accelerate the process of disaster. Sadly, very few individuals give importance to such factors when purchasing a new automobile for their personal or official use.
