Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe Black Series
Those smart Germans from Mercedes presented the most powerful version of the C-Class - C63 AMG Coupé Black Series. As in the previous three Black Series models, including the famous sl63 black, in the C63 black, power is the main objective, which in itself leads to significant changes in the suspension and more aggressive road behavior.
The engine is naturally aspirated AMG 6.3 V8 with 508bhp, forged pistons, new ECU and better cooling. The engine is combined with the AMG Speedshift seven speed gearbox, which has two wet clutches. This guarantees your super-fast shifting times and constant power delivery. The rear axle has a limited slip differential that is linked to the stability control system (ESP), which can be turned off completely. The chassis of the car has been changed quite significantly. The model has a wider track - with 40mm at the front and 75 mm at the rear, tighter coils and totally adjustable suspension.
The brakes have also been replaced with bigger and better ones. The front discs have a diameter of 390 mm when the rear ones are 360mm. This allows the beast to stop more confident. As a standard, the coupe comes with two seats only, but if you prefer, you can spec your car with two rear seats as well. For the first time with black series, you can order and Track Package as well as AMG Aerodynamic Package. The Track package includes specially designs Dunlop tyres and specially designed differential cooling system. The Aerodynamic Package adds some carbon fibre elements to your car as well as fixed rear spoiler. And the fuel consumption… well this monster has the fuel efficiency of five hybrid cars combined. Well, nothing is perfect.
