How does this sound: a car that runs entirely on electricity which is just as cheap and also just as good as any other. A car that will take you hundreds of miles with a single charge; a car that works great, looks sexy, and doesn’t contribute in any way to the already frighteningly progressive grip of Global Warming. Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? Well, here’s the thing: that’s because, to a certain degree it is.

I don’t want to be too negative, but there are some simple facts that everyone should be aware of: I’m not saying that electric cars aren’t the future and that we should continue to destroy the atmosphere—what I am saying is that you have to be very careful about what you believe. Believe everything the manufacturers have to say and you are living a fantasy.

Firstly, we have to talk about how cars are produced. Now, electric as electric cars may be, that doesn’t mean that the method of producing them is any less industrially damaging to the atmosphere than current car production methods. By the time any car—unless it’s made out of drift-wood and natural glue, or scraps found in the bin—gets onto the road it has already done more than its fair share against humanity; regardless of how good it is from that point on, the electric car has still been a bit of a bad boy (or girl).

The manufacturers won’t tell you any of this, of course, because that would really make you think, and we can’t have too many people doing that: that would be dangerous. What’s the answer? That’s the really bad bit I was hoping I could leave out. There isn’t one. The best thing we can do is use electric cars as much as possible, as soon as we can. At least then we’re only being half as naughty. If you are all actually interested in other ways to save energy, check out this really great Enigin Geek blog that I found.

In the world of sports cars there are some pretty big names. Ferrari, Aston Martin and Mercedes are just a few of them. These companies have been making top quality cars for the road and the race-track for many years now and have been successful across the board.

However, one name, also successful at making race cars and road legal sports cars, has slipped under the radar in recent times and I can’t understand why this is. Lotus, a British car manufacturer, have been making top quality sports cars for a long time and recently have created some truly outstanding performance vehicles.

Lotus, some may not know, actually beat Ferrari to winning 50 Gran Prix races and were the first manufacturer to achieve the feat despite Ferrari winning their first Grand Prix nine years before Lotus.

The latest batch of Lotus vehicles include the Lotus Elise, Exige and Evora and all are fantastic sports cars. Lotus cars are instantly recognisable with their distinct and unique styling. Almost bug-like in their appearance, the cars are attractive and certainly look the part.

They also drive unbelievably well. It is thought that Porsche are the unrivalled masters of car engineering and, it is true, they have created some astonishing vehicles and, over the past 40 years, have ironed out nearly all of the flaws that occur in automobile engineering, creating the perfect drive. However, Lotus are right up there with Porsche.

The main things that embody a Lotus are speed, size and handling. Their cars are very small, very light, very fast and give the driver and experience that you usually have to pay a lot of money to experience. They are also very reasonably priced. You get the drive of a Porsche 911 for a fraction of the cost.

So give Lotus a thought the next time you want to buy a sports car, you won’t be disappointed.

I have just updated the images on the page for home heating oil, I know that it will surprise you that I am doing some stuff for an oil company; but I don’t think they are as environmentally unfriendly as I once assumed. Plus, I’ve sold out, I need the dinero!

Not everyone can afford a brand new car, however buying a second hand car can turn out to be more expensive in the long run if you are not careful. You should not end up buying something that actually belongs to the junkyard! That would solve no purpose at all.

Proper research and knowledge can help you pick up a well maintained second hand car that feels as good as new. However, the best bet would be to settle for a car that is not too old. This has various reasons.

Going for a car that is only two to five tears old can be the best option. Stay away from cars older than that. Depending on the total time it has been on the road, it will cost twenty five to fifty percent lesser. In fact, a well maintained three year old car can pass of as a swanky brand new one.

In all probability, a car that is only two or three years old would probably still have
an existing premium coverage. Therefore you may not have to shell out from your pocket at least not in the near future, till the old coverage is still valid.

It is always wise to get a second hand car checked by a mechanic before actually buying it. This way you will get to know about the actual condition of the car. It is alright, if there are dents or scratches here and there as long as the engine is in proper working condition.

An interesting aspect that concerns used cars these days is the tag of a certified used vehicle. A tag or certificate like this would mean that the car is quite new and has been thoroughly inspected. It will also mean that car still has some warranties attached to it.

So when you plan to buy a second hand car, go for something that is not older than 5 years. This way your car related expenses would be less in the long run.
As it sometimes crops up, I every so often look into online offers as a matter of interest and I have recently found a organisation that does online hr management software. To have all applicable people logged into a central network seems like a really convenient idea to me, also a massive time saver, I am slightly intrigued why this is the first time it is getting popular.

The style and performance of your car can be increase with a bit of tuning. There are many ways to do this, however it can be a bit difficult to get a grasp of things if you have not done it before. Below are some tips to make the most out of your ride, both with performance and looks.

Body Kits – Body kits can add a new dimension to your car. It can give it the look of the ultimate performance machine. But choosing the right kit is crucial to getting the most out of your car and giving it a good look. Side skirts can be used on any car and they can give your ride a sporty sexy look if chosen wisely, besides they also increase the grip on the road. Spoilers can help increase down force on the rear of the vehicle. This increases stability and adds to the performance of the car.

Wheels – Choosing custom wheels and tires over traditional once can give you an added grip on the road. The whole idea behind tuning you car is to reduce the load. Hence chromed steel wheels should be avoided as they weigh more than OEM wheels, and can negatively impact your cars performance. Aluminium rims are lightweight and have other benefits performance wise.

Tires –tires that offer extra grip are vital especially if you want to race your car. You should choose Z rated tires when racing as they are made of softer compounds than other conventional tyres. You will however have to change the tires very often as they wear off much more easily as then other tires. You can reduce the cost of replacement by having two sets of tires, one for racing and the other for regular driving.

Suspension – Your car’s suspension must also be good while racing, improper suspension can hamper performance. You can add custom sway bars, coilover kits and strut bars for better suspension. This will help you turn quicker and get rid of suspension sway.

I have just updated the text on the site for kerosene heating oil, I know that it must surprise you that I am working on some things for an oil company; but I don’t think they are as environmentally unfriendly as I once assumed. Plus, I’ve sold out, I need the compensation!
